Mrs. Margaret Eleanor McCoy, a native of this city and sister of George R. Ross, 3 Front Street, of the State Internal Department, died yesterday at her home in Lewistown, after an illness of about a week. She was 82 years old.
Mrs. McCoy was the daughter of John A. and Jane Witherow Ross of this city, and the widow of Thomas F. McCoy, a veteran of the Mexican and Civil Wars.
She is survived by her brother, George F. Ross, of this city, two sons, Brig.-Gen. Frank Ross McCoy, a veteran of the Spanish-American and World Wars, and now chief assistant to Governor General Leonard Wood in the Philippines, and John Howard McCoy, of New York City; two daughters, Misses Margaretta and Hannah McCoy, of Lewistown. Funeral services will be held in Lewistown, tomorrow afternoon at 2.30 o'clock.
