Rev. Thomas Bailey Allison. Aged 84, retired farmer and Baptist minister, died at his home in Pocahontas, Sunday. He was born in Randolph County Nov 22, 1878, a son of Kern and Charity Bailey Allison and had made his home in and near Pocahontas practically all his life.

Funeral services were conducted at the First Baptist Church at 10:30 AM Tuesday morning 10 Mar 1963, by the Revs Lawrence Ray and W. H. Herd. Interment was in Masonic Cemetery under the direction of McNabb Funeral Home. Pallbearers were Murial, Millard, Linden, Harvey, Shirley, and Frank Allison

He is survived by his wife Mrs. Susannah Allison of the home; four daughters, Mrs. Madge Fisher of San Jose, California; Mrs. Freeda Crownover of Flint, Michigan, Mrs. Virgin Thomas of Pocahontas, and Mrs. Barbara Swiger of Oakland, Missouri; a son Leonard Allison of Walnut Ridge; 10 grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren, and two brothers, George Allison of Route One, and Dave Allison of Hoxie.
