Opal Durbin Rayle Chaplin, 78, of RD 4, Cameron, died Saturday at home. She was a Baptist. She was preceded in death by her first husband, Edgar "Bus" Rayle, in 1969; her second husband, Dana Chaplin, in 1991; her parents, Lawrence and Della Parson Durbin; three brothers, a sister. Surviving are a son, Lawrence "Pete" Rayle of Cameron; two daughters, Phyllis Neely and Patricia Parriott, both of Cameron; four stepsons, Floyd Chaplin, Merle Chaplin, James Chaplin and Ralph Chaplin, all of Moundsville; three stepdaughters, Martha Sego of Florida, Barbara O'Brien of Steven City, Va., and Phyllis Bogzevitz of Jeromesville, Ohio; 12 grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; several stepgrandchildren.
