Arnold B. Musum

Service for Arnold B. Musum, former chief clerk of the Spokane County Justice Courts, was held last Thursday at Bramet Cemetery in Wallowa, Ore., with Daniels Valley Funeral Chapel in La Grande, Ore., in charge.

Mr. Musum, 79, died Dec. 12 at a La Grande nursing home.

Born in Wisconsin, he came to Spokane in 1915 and attended schools here.

Mr. Musum had been cashier at Stockland Union Stockyards before joining the Justice Court clerks office in 1964. He served as chief court clerk from 1965 until retiring June 1, 1976. He moved to La Grande in 1983.

He was a member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars and the Sons of Norway in Spokane. Mr. Musum served with the Army Air Corps during World War II. Shot down over Germany, he was a Prisoner of War in Germany.

Survivors include his wife of 42 years, Isabel M. (Johnson) Musum, at the home in La Grande.
