PAYNE - Ethel Burk, 87, Payne, died Aug. 10 after an extended illness.
Born Jan. 3, 1895, in Paulding County, she was the daughter of Terry and Altha (Murphy) Harp.
She was the last surviving charter member of the Payne Church of the Nazarene.
Survivors include two sons, Harold, Leipsic, and Richard, Payne; two daughters, Mrs. Margaret Hegge, Stockbridge, Mich., and Mrs. Nadina McClain, Payne; three brothers, Oscar Harp, Payne; Charles Harp, Defiance, and Cletus Harp, Cleveland; two sisters, Mrs. Nellie McIntosh, Largo, Fla., and Mrs. Grace Hehman, Akron; 11 grandchildren and 15 great grandchildren.
Three sons, Raymond, Elmer, and Junior preceded her in death.
Services were Thursday in the Payne Church of the Nazarene with the Rev. Ronald Bishop officiating. Burial followed in the Lehman Cemetery.
