Zebulum Burk, son of John and Catherine Burk, was born in Van Wert County, Ohio, Dec. 11, 1850 and departed this life February 28, 1917 at the home of his brother, George Burk with whom he had made his home for the past thirty-five years. Death was due to Bright's Disease and paralysis from which he had been a sufferer for some time.
Deceased was a man whose friendship, was of a strong enduring nature and had led an upright moral life. He leaves to mourn his departure four brothers and two sisters, many other relatives and friends.
The funeral services were conducted from the M.E. church in Payne, Ohio, Rev. Coffman officiating and burial was made in the Lehman cemetery.
