William "Bill" Wehmeyer, 52, of Sedalia, died Tuesday, May 29, 2001, at a work site in rural Pettis County.
He ws born Sep. 12, 1948, in Sedalia, a son of William Fred and Betty Mattox Wehmeyer. On July 8, 1972 in Sedalia, he was married to Kay Denny, who survives of the home.
Bill was a member of New Bethel United Methodist Church. He owned and operated Wehmeyer Excavating. He lived in Sedalia all his life.
Also surviving are a son, David Wehmeyer of Sedalia; his mother, Betty Carter of Lincoln; and two granddaughter's Kassie and Tiffany Wehmeyer.
He was preceded in death by a daughter, Carla Beth Wehmeyer; and a granddaughter, Kaylee Beth Wehmeyer; and his father William Fred Wehmeyer.
Bill coached Little Leage Baseball and Sedalia Girls Softball. He also enjoyed racing cars.
Bill will be deeply missed by all. Bill "I Will Always Love You."
