He was in the theatre fire of December 26,1811 and badly burned.

Husband of Lucy Baugh;married by Rev.Leonidas Rosser on April 7,1845.

Received his MD in 1792.

Two Sons Dr.William Reid McCaw and Dr.David McCaw.

William married Ann Brown daughter of James Brown,Jr of Richmond on October 2,1822.
Daughter of William,ElizabethR.,married James A.Patterson in Richmond on January 27,1846.

David died at Millwood,Powhatan County on February 13,1849 in his 47 year.
