Minnie Denson was the wife of Benton E. Denson, daughter of Earl Hansel Adams and Naomi Gertrude Adams-Brown. She was preceded in death by her parents, brothers Clovis Adams, Hubert Adams, and Herbert Brown, daughter Betty Jean Denson, grandson Phillip Jack Denson, and great-granddaughter Haley Perry. She is survived by her four sons, 12 grandchildren, 27 great-grandchildren, one great-great grandchild, tow half-brothers, and two half-sisters. She and her husband farmed in the Helicon area of Winston County AL and when the cotton crop was harvested, after World War II, they would spend the winter in/around Broward County FL and work in the produce business. After his sudden and untimely death in 1954, she raised chickens and worked in the lunch room at the Addison combined elementary/high school in Addison AL to provide for and sustain her family. She also grew a large garden every year up to about 2 years before she died, of which she was very proud. She was a member of the Liberty Baptist Church in Helicon AL which she attended regularly and was an exemplary Christian with a strong faith in God throughout her entire life, and was an inspiration to all who knew and loved her.
