Daughter of Milton Edward Trimble and Bessie Camelia Patterson.

Married first, on Jul 2, 1926, to Tolbert Kelly "Toby" Fawcett. This first marriage did not last very long, and ended in divorce, but did produce a daughter named Beverlie Jean Fawcett.

Synthia was then re-married on March 10, 1929, to Charles Arthur Baker, son of Ernest Baker and his wife, Onie Jane Bennett (my great grandparents). This marriage produced two children, Arthur Eugene Baker and Marilyn Lee Baker. Charles A. Baker died fairly young, at the age of thirty-nine, on July 12, 1943, of a massive stroke, in Turlock, California.

Sometime after Charles' death Synthia was married a third time to Theodore Francis Green, SR.

OBITUARY - From the Modesto Bee newspaper dated April 14, 1971

RITES ARE SET FOR VICTIM OF HEART ATTACK

Funeral services for Synthia May Green, 63, 600 Marshall Ave., Modesto, will be held at 2 p.m. tomorrow in the Norton Mortuary in Turlock.

Chief Deputy Coroner Lt. William Manley said injuries suffered when Mrs. Green's car was struck from the rear by another car on Scenic Drive near Bodem Street March 5 had no connection with her death. An autopsy disclosed death was due to heart failure.

She died in Scenic General Hospital Monday.

Born in Washington, she had been a resident of Stanislaus County since 1922. She had been a member of the Pansy Rebekah Lodge of Turlock and the Emblem Club of Modesto, and the Delta Blood Bank.

She is survivied (sic) by her widower, Theodore of Modesto; mother Bessie Robinson of Modesto; son Art Baker of Washington, two daughters. Beverlie Toca and Marilyn Bowman, both of Modesto; stepson, Theodore Green, Jr. of
Modesto; sister Gladys Talkington of Turlock; brothers Melvin Trimble of Columbia, Leroy Trimble of Carson City and Robert Trimble of Modesto; 13 grandchildren and one great-grandchild.

NOTE - the mention of her being a resident of Stanislaus County since 1922 is incorrect. She was living in Bruneau, Owyhee County, Idaho, when the 1930 census was conducted. Perhaps they meant she had been living in Stanislaus County since 1932? Also, the traffic accident that was referred to in her obituary was mentioned in another article in this same paper the day before her obituary was published (on April 13, 1971) and in the previous article the accident was referred to as having taking place on April 5, rather than March 5, 1971.
