Funeral services for Dr. Lee Roy Adams, Jr., age 74, of Columbia were held Wednesday, April 15th, 2:00 p.m. at the Chapel of Riser & Son Funeral Home of Columbia, with the Rev. John Vining officiating.

Burial followed in the Columbia Hill Cemetery under the direction of Riser & Son Funeral Home of Columbia.

Dr. Adams died Monday, April 14th, at St. Francis Medical Center, Monroe, after a short illness.

Dr. Adams was a member of First United Methodist Church, Columbia; a member of Fifth District La. Dental Association, and a life member of American Dental Society.

Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Marie Poelman Adams, Columbia; two sons, Lee Roy Adams, III, New Orleans, and Peter Adams, Columbia; four daughters, Mrs. Mary Traylor, Winnsboro, Mrs. Sally Drinkhouse, Ocala, Fla., Mrs. Katherine May, Holly Ridge, and Mrs. Elizabeth Smith, Tallulah; one brother, Dr. Blake Adams, Monroe; one sister, Mrs. Maurine Richardson, Baton Rouge. There were 7 grandchildren.

Pallbearers were Hall Winters, Monty Adams, Blake Adams, Curt Adams, Tom Modjeski, and Dr. Linus Carroll. Honorary Pallbearers were Directors of Caldwell Bank & Trust Co. & Rosedale Hunting Club.
