G.W. "Bill" Dibble, (a.k.a "Mr. Terrible"), 88, of Smethport, was a son of William Jackson and Blanche Belle Miller Dibble. On Aug.1, 1953, in St. Elizabeth Church, Smethport, he married Mary Elizabeth Duffy who survives.
Mr. Dibble attended Rixford grade school and was a graduate of Otto Eldred High School.
He served in the US Army Air Corps in WWII, and the USAF during the Korean conflict and Vietnam.
Mr. Dibble worked as a machine operator/crystal cutter at Penn Silco of Bradford, PA.
He was part of Myra's Morning Club at Myra's Restaurant, Smethport.
He is also survived by 8 children: five daughters, three sons, 13 grandchildren, 6 great grandchildren;, a sister, a brother and numerous nieces and nephews.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by 10 siblings.
