William R. "Bob" Akers, age 89, of Henrico, passed away March 10, 2005. He was predeceased by his son, Danny and is survived by his wife of 69 years, Beatrice; three sons, Jerry, Robert, Jarrod; one granddaughter, and two great-grandchildren; sister, Helen A . Burke; and sister-in-law. He was an employee of RICO for 50 years and a member of Fairmount Presbyterian Church. Bob was buried in Oakwood Cemetery on March 11.
