Side by side, on the original plat of the beautiful cemetery at Leesburg, lie the remains of James Blain and his wife. Old time upright marble slabs bear the following inscriptions:

Who departed this life September2, 1847, in the 67th year of his age.
In Memory of Mary, wife of James blain
Who departed this life September 16, 1845 Aged 66 years, 11 months, and 25 days.
James was born 30 May 1780 Cumberland County, PA son of Thomas Blain b. 1760 d. 1807 in PA and Sarah Wilson b. 1755 Virginia d. 1807 KY. Thomas is buried in Warrior Run Church Cemetery in Turbot Township, Cumberland, PA but I cannot find a findagrave registration for him.
