Mary Frances Turley, (Mrs. William D. Henry) was born December 11, 1842, Round Prairie, east of Springfield, Illinois, daughter of Thomas J. and Mary F. Trotter Turley. She married first to Quintis L. Embree (born 1840) on December 28, 1864 in Sangamon county, Illinois. He served in a Missouri infantry unit during the Civil War. About 1868 he deserted his family and they never
heard from him again. His wife, Mary Frances, was granted a divorce on 20 Nov 1871 in Lincoln, Logan co., IL.

They had one child, Fannie Agnes Embree (Follett).

She then married William D. Henry on February 21, 1875. She die February 18, 1917 south of Wiseton, Illinois

Survived by her daughter, Agnes F. Embree Follett, wife of R.V. Follett and son, William D. Henry, Jr.
