East Peoria, IL - Randy A. Horton, 44, of 1461/2 Stewart St. died at 5:51 p.m. Monday, Oct. 5, 1998, at Methodist Medical Center in Peoria.
Born June 7, 1954, in Peoria to Paul G. and Vera M. Robinson Horton, he married Teresa Davis on May 14, 1983, in East Peoria. She survives.
Also surviving are his stepfather and mother, Clifford and Vera Jaquet of Creve Coeur; one son, Dustin of East Peoria; two daughters, Melissa Horton of East Peoria and Alisha Horton of Tremont; three sisters, Mrs. Brian (Janet) Kupferschmid of Creve Coeur, Mrs. Dennis (Kathi) Kupferschmid of East Peoria and Mrs. Don (Connie) Kross of Holland, Mich.; four stepsisters, Vicky Hamilton of East Peoria, Glenna Campbell of West Peoria, Mrs. Mark (Sue) Farraher of Metamora and Mrs. David (Pamela) Neal of Naperville; one grandson; and several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his father on Jan. 16, 1979. He worked in the Metallurgical Lab at Caterpillar Inc. for 10 years. He later worked at the Chrysler Parts Department in St. Louis.
He coached East Peoria Little League Baseball and served on the East Peoria Soccer board.
Burial will be in Fondulac Cemetery.
