Funeral for Marjorie Sarah Cavnar, 75, of Decatur will be Saturday at 10 a.m. at Brown Service Funeral Home with the Rev. George Creel and Rev. Matthew Nail officiating.
Burial will be in Decatur City Cemetery. The family will receive friends tonight from 6 to 9 at the funeral home.
Mrs. Cavnar died Thursday at Moulton Health Care Center. She was born Marjorie Sarah Hood on July 31, 1917 in Marshall County. She was a member of Ninth Street United Methodist Church.
She is survived by her husband, Herman Cavnar; one son, Ronnie Cavnar of Decatur; two brothers, Robert Hood of Chula Vista, Calif, and Milton Hood of Lake Helen, Fla, and three grandsons.
Pallbearers will be Nelson Buck, James Dunlap, Louis Jones, R.E. Moore, Tom Davis and J.O. Sims.
