Edward Lowe, age 90 of Monroe, died on July 5, 2010. He was born in Good Hope on Oct. 19, 1919 to the late William David Lowe and the late Nellie Valeria Langford Lowe. He was preceded in death by his son, the late Eddie Lowe. Mr. Lowe was a member of Good Hope Christian Church for 83 years. He is survived by his wife, Doris Lowe of Monroe; daughters and sons-in-law, Linda and Dwight Jeffcoat of Monroe, Regina and David Phillips of Monroe; son, Billy Lowe of Monroe; daughter-in-law, Jennie Lowe of Bowdon; nine grandchildren and 17 great grandchildren.
