Larry F. Haskins, 56, of Franklin, died on Tuesday, May 31, in UPMC Northwest, Seneca.

He was born on Jan. 31, 1949, in Grafton, W.Va., a son of Juanita Malone Haskins and the late Franklin Haskins. He attended high school in Coraopolis.

Mr. Haskins served with the US Marines from 1967 to 1971. He served a tour of duty in Vietnam with the 1st Marine Division I Corps, where he received the Silver Star, the Bronze Star and a Purple Heart.

He was employed for 25 years in the maintenance department of Franklin High School. He enjoyed fishing and woodworking.

He married the former Donna Hoffman in March 1972.

In addition to his mother, surviving are three sons, Bryan, Todd and Shaun, all of Cooperstown; a granddaughter, Evangeline Haskins of Cooperstown; three brothers, John Haskins, Paul Haskins and his wife, Elaine, all of Coraopolis, and Kenneth Haskins and his wife, Colleen, of Auburn, Mass.; a sister, Sherry Hornack and her husband, Andrew, of Coraopolis; and several nieces and nephews.

Friends were received in Huff Chapel in Franklin. Interment was in Sewickley Cemetery.
