Evelyn R. MacPeek, 89, of Alma, Arkansas died Friday, July 30, 2010 at Alma Healthcare and Rehabilitation.
She was a retired registered nurse, a Lutheran and a member of the DAV Auxilliary. She was a graduate of Wilmont High School, Wilmont South Dakota in 1939, Lutheran Bible Institute, Minneapolis, Minnesota in 1943 and Lutheran Deaconess Hospital School of Nursing in 1947.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Eppah and Ella (Welch) Robbins, and siblings, Ralph Robbins, Winfield Robbins, Wilma Robbins Wandel, Dorothy Robbins Bahr, Ronald Robbins and Beverly Robbins.
She is survived by her husband, Russell; two daughters, Lisa Vinsant of Mesa, AZ and Lois Cordova of Glendale, AZ; 4 sons, Dennis MacPeek of Kankakee, IL, Douglas and Lee MacPeek both of Layton, UT and Donald MacPeek of Alma, AR; numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Funeral services were held Wednesday, August 4, 2010 at 10:30am at Our Savior Lutheran Church in Mountainburg, Arkansas.
Pallbearers were Donald, Jacob, Gabe, Lee and Dennis MacPeek.
