Son of James ORR (1802 - 1885) and Elizabeth Dustheimer of Bowling Green Township, Licking County Ohio. James' father Robert ORR was in Licking Co. as one of the earliest settlers by the end of 1804 (while it still was in Fairfield Co.). Robert's father was James ORR married to Mary DALE. James ORR Sr. immigrated to America from Northern Ireland in the ca 1770.
Noah's first wife was Nancy J. (Maiden name unknown). She died in May 30, 1876 after having two sons (one of which died before the 1870 census). Noah's second wife was named Roxanna (Maiden name unknown). They had no children together and on the 1900 census Roxanna says she had "0" children.
Noah ORR bought five plots next to each other in this cemetery - old section on the southern edge of the "circle" in the old section. Noah has no monument. This monument is to his first wife Nancy J and their 4 year old son Leroy. Cemetery records show that Noah, his second wife, and "Dolly" are also buried in one of these five plots.
Noah's only surviving child, James B ORR, is buried in section 1A, subdivision 82. James children (and family members) are all buried in section 1A, subdivisions 81 and 99 - their plots are all contiguous. Please see James B. ORR

Many of the remains from Indian Run Cemetery were moved to this location as were individual stones. Remains buried at Deardorf Cemetery, originally located southeast of Riverside Drive (US Rt. 33) and Dublin-Granville Road (State Rt. 161) in Perry Township, were also moved here. The cemetery is maintained by the city of Dublin and is still an active cemetery. Section numbers are shown on the aerial photo (link below).
