graduated from Schuyler High School in 1944. Following high school she worked at the
Department of Utilities before joining Folda and Company as receptionist/secretary in the insurance
agency.
As a couple, Geri and Lenor shared many interests such as golfing, bowling, gardening, baking and
canning. They also volunteered their time at the Benedictine Mission House.
Geri is survived by her two sons; Dr. Kevin and his wife Debbie Benesch of Lincoln and Dr. Curtis
Benesch and his wife, Dr. Neeru Sehgal of Rochester, New York, four grandchildren; Travis and
Reece Benesch of Lincoln and Nikhil and Sarita Benesch of Rochester. She was preceded in death
by her husband Lenor, her parents and their infant child, a sister, Marcena Vanderkolk and two
brothers, Lumir and Jerry Abraham.
