David is survived by his loving wife of 24 years, Lisa Hain Stahr; sons, Zachary and Henry Stahr, both of Greensboro, N.C.; mother, Bonnie (husband, Gary) Davis of North Little Rock, Ark.; father, Roy (wife, Helen Jane) Stahr of Riverton; sisters, Debbie Davis of Little Rock, Ark., Mary Jane and Stephanie Stahr, both of Springfield; mother and father-in-law, James and Theresa Hain; sisters and brothers-in-law, Buddy and Stacy Hain, Michael and Andrea Hain, all of North Little Rock, Ark., and Ken and Susan Clark of Birmingham, Ala.
David grew up in Springfield and North Little Rock. He graduated from the University of Arkansas-Fayetteville, where he was a member of the Sigma Alpha Epsilon fraternity. David moved several times before he and his family settled in Greensboro, where he was a business owner. It was there that he thrived on spending time with his family, watching his boys play football, volunteering as a coach for local youth and walking his beloved bulldog, Chubs.
Visitation will be held at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church in North Little Rock, Ark. from 6 to 7 p.m. with Rosary to follow, on Tuesday, Aug. 3, 2010. Memorial services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday, Aug. 4, 2010, at the church.
North Little Rock Funeral Home, 501-758-1170, is in charge of arrangements.
The family will also hold a memorial service in Greensboro at Our Lady of Grace Catholic Church. Details will be announced at a later date.
