County Couple Dies Suddenly.

Grief Over Wife"s Sudden Demise Last Night Caused Death of John Jacklin Today.

Hold Services Tuesday.

Mrs. Jacklin Died From Apoplexy at Local Hospital While Talking With Husband.

Grief and excitement over the sudden death of his wife, Mrs. Elizabeth Annis McCrea Jacklin, which occurred Friday night at the Major Memorial Hospital, this morning caused the death of John Thomas Jacklin, age 53, at his home in Hendricks Township.

Mrs. Jacklin entered the hospital yesterday where she was to have some teeth extracted this morning. She died suddenly at 8:45 o'clock last night from apoplexy while conversing with her husband in her room.

Mrs. Jacklin was the daughter of Albert and Elizabeth McCrea and was born December 29, 1880.

She would have been 49 years old Sunday.

The deceased was a loyal member of the Mt. Gilead Baptist Church and always took an active part in the affairs of the church.

She was married to Mr. Jackin on September 12, 1905.

Surviving are her mother, Mrs. Albert McCrea of Hendricks Township and one brother, Harry McCrea, also of Hendricks Township.

She is also survived by a half-brother, John McCrea of Los Angeles, California.

Funeral services will be held at the Mt. Gilead Church Tuesday morning, December 31, at eleven o'clock.

The date of the funeral is just one day before the birthday anniversary of Mr. Jacklin and two days after the date of Mrs. Jacklin's birth.

Burial will be in the Miller Cemetery.
