Ann was born in Nairn, Nairnshire, Scotland to James Calder and Janet MacIntosh. She emigrated to Canada in 1832. She married James Williamson abt. 1842 and settled in Oneida Twp. After her husband's death in 1897, she relocated to Manitoulin Island in Ontario where some of her children were residing. She died in Mindemoya, Carnarvon Twp. (Manitoulin Island).
