They raised five children: Elizabeth Cabell (born 1753, Amherst Co, Va; died 1771); Joseph Cabell II (born 6 Jan 1762, Sion Hill, Va; died 31 Aug 1831); Mary Hopkins Cabell (born 22 Feb 1769, Sion Hill; died in 1858); Ann Cabell (born 5 Feb 1771, Sion Hill, Va; died in 1840); and Elizabeth Cabell (born 1772, Sion Hill, Va; died in 1855).

Gravesite Details
The home of Joseph Cabell, built in 1785, no longer exists. Joseph and his wife, Mary Hopkins, were buried at Zion Hill but the stone and remains were relocated in Ridgewood, New Jersey, by descendent Robert H. Cabell sometime prior to 1959.
