Born in South Hill, Va., she was retired from C&P Telephone after 40 years of service. She was a member of Haygood United Methodist Church and The Pioneers.
Survivors include her husband, Frank Prevette; a sister, Lillie Harris of Richmond; a brother, Lawrence Traylor of Richmond; several nieces and nephews in Richmond and South Hill.
A funeral will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday at Hollomon-Brown Funeral Home, Bayside Chapel. Burial will be in Forest Lawn Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home today from 7 to 9 p.m. She will be greatly missed by her family and friends in this area.
