Eunice Lorene Fitzgerald, 69, formerly of Superior, died last Wednesday at the Good Samaritan Village, Hastings.  Services were Friday at Immanuel Lutheran Church, Glenvil, with the Rev. Timothy Wiggins officiating.  Interment was in Glenvil Cemetery.
Fitzgerald, daughter of Ernest and Neva Bales, was born July 2, 1924, at Fairbury.  She attended the Fairbury Public School.
She was united in marriage to James Fitzgerald April 6, 1941, at Fairbury.  She was a member of the Glenvil Community Improvement Committee, American Legion Auxiliary, Presbyterian Church and attended Immanuel Lutheran Church.
Fitzgerald was preceded in death by her parents, husband and two brothers.
Survivors include two daughters, Beverly Turner, Lincoln, Pauline Wagner, Glenvil; two sns, Jim,  Glenvil, Tim Superior;three brothers, Eugene Bales, Bremerton, Wash., Lewis "Sonny" Bales, Fairbury,  Cecil "Butch" Bales, Glenvil; one sister, Dorthy Eberhardt, Tacoma, Wash.; six grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
