Jacob H. Myers, 86, a native of Locke township died last Thursday evening in the McDonald hospital at Warsaw. He had been in poor health several years and a patient at the hospital 10 days.
He was born May 27, 1864, the son of Jonas and Mary Myers.
His wife Lizzie Ellen (Slabaugh) Myers whom he married Dec. 17, 1887 died Dec 28, 1948.
Surviving are four daughters, Mrs. William Wagner and Mrs. Donald Weybright of Nappanee, Mrs. W. W. James of Auburn, and Jesse Yoder of Plymouth; a son, J. Harold Myers of Rochester, 7 grandchildren and a brother, John Myers of Elmira, NY.
The funeral was held Sunday afternoon in the Wright funeral home. Burial in Union Center cemetery.
