Actor. He was a member of Max Reinhardt's celebrated troupe of actors. He made his film debut in "Der Richter Von Zalamea." Most famous for his role as Count Orlok in F.W. Murnau's "Nosferatu; Eine Symphonie Des Grauens." Coincidentally, Max Schreck is German for "Maximum Terror" (Max played many horror roles). Appeared in "Der Tunnel" and many other films. He was married to an actress named Fanny Norman.
