Lyman E. Baker
Lyman E Baker, 68, of 513 Main St., died at 5:45 p.m. Tuesday at Memorial Hospital, South Bend. He had been in ill health for four months.

He was born October 2, 1914, in Twelve Mile to Samuel and Anna Marshall Baker. He lived all but five years of his life in this area. He married Anne Pafundi on June 1, 1963, in Rochester. She survives.

Baker was a retired plumbing and heating contractor who was a member of the Masonic Lodge, Mizpah Shrine, Scottish Rite, I.O.O.F., and a U.S. Navy veteran of World War II. He served several years as a deputy coroner for Fulton County.

Surviving with his wife are a son, Brad (Baker), of Rochester, a daughter, Mrs. Louis (Cathy) O'Neal of Independence, Missouri, and seven grandchildren.

Private family rites will be conducted by Louis O'Neal with Zimmerman Brothers Funeral Home in charge of Arrangements. There will be no visitation.

MY NOTE: His first wife was Martha Alice Gilliland. They were married on June 26, 1937 in Rochester. Alice passed away on September 16, 1962.
