Alta Faye Allen, 69, passed away on Tuesday, July 20, 2010, in Lathrop, California.
Faye was born on July 16, 1941 in Marble City, Oklahoma, daughter of the late Arthur Henry and Mabel Ann Conley.
She was the youngest of 9 sisters and 3 brothers: Jewel, Lois, Vivian, Lillian, Alma, Pearline, Perry, Floyd, Clyde, Clara, Ruby, and Mabel.
Faye was preceded in death by sisters and brothers, and her husband of 35 years, John Allen. They resided in Muldrow, Okla. from 1991-2009.
Faye was survived by her son Michael Adams of San Jose, Cali.; son Marc Adams of Truckee, Cali; son Anthony LaRosa of Lathrop, Cali; and her daughter, Amanda Faye Allen of Lavaca, Ark; 4 grandchildren; 2 great grandchildren; and countless other family and friends whom were blessed to have known her.
Faye loved cooking, canning, gardening, and going to yard sales. She always did anything in her power to help the ones she loved. She will be missed greatly by her family and everyone who knew her. If love could have saved Faye, she would have lived forever.
Cemetery services were at Dwight Mission Cemetery at 10:00a.m. on Thursday, July 29, 2010.
