Mrs. Esther M. Moyer, 76,former area resident, died early today in Tiffin Mercy Hospital after a three week illness.she was recreational director at Heidelberg College the last four years and was a member of Trinity United Church of Christ at Tiffin and its women's society. She had gone to Tiffin from Marion in 1945. Born in Green Camp, July 13 1895, she was a daughter of George and Mary Reidel Jacobs. Her husband, Arlus Moyer whom she married Dec 25, 1920, in Green Camp, and her parents and nine brothers and sisters preceded her in death.
Surviving are a son, Donald J. Moyer, and a daughter, Mrs. Allen W. (Kreta) Bell, both of Tiffin; five grandchildren. and a sister, Mrs. Katherine Vollarth of Upper Sandusky. Funeral services will be Monday at 1:30 pm. in the Hoffman Memorial Funeral Home, 238 S. Washington St., Tiffin. Rev. William Tuck Will officiate and burial will be in Seneca Memorial Gardens. Friends may call at the funeral home Sunday.
