Mrs. Alice Uhrich, 92, Passes Away at Home

Mrs. Alice Uhrich, wife of Conrad Uhrich, died early this morning at her home 915 Jefferson ave. after an illness of only a few hours. Mrs. Uhrich, 92, had attended a family dinner yesterday at the home of Mrs. Henry Amen.

Mrs. Uhrich was feeling well when she retired last night after visiting with her daughter and husband until bedtime. She became ill about 3 a.m. and a doctor was called by the family. Following medical treatment she felt better and after saying her prayers, told her family she wanted to go back to sleep. She died shortly after.

Mrs. Uhrich was born June 17, 1862, to the late Henry and Barbara Kline. She was formerly married to John Strausheim, who died in Pierce, Neb., in 1928. She was married to Conrad Uhrich in February in 1931 in Lincoln, Neb. The Uhrichs have made their home in Loveland since their marriage.

Mrs. Uhrich was faithful member of the First Congregational church, where funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Friday, with the Rev. A. Brenning officiating. Interment will be in Pierce, Neb., on Saturday with burial beside her first husband.

Survivors include her husband, Conrad Uhrich; five daughters, Mrs. Jacob Frick of Luceland, Canada, who is visiting here. Mrs. John Uhrich and Mrs. Wilhelm W? of Lincoln, Neb., Mrs. Conrad Lesser? of Norfolk, Neb., and Mrs. George Hoff of Fort Morgan; a son, Alex Strausheim of Casper, Wyo.

Other survivors are seven step-children, Mrs. Henry Amen, Mrs. Henry Weber and Mrs. Henry Harms of Loveland, Mrs. Jacob Amen of Hastings, Neb., C. W. Uhrich of Windsor, John Uhrich of Berthoud and Mrs. Jacob Stroh of Johnstown; 29 grandchildren and several great-grandchildren.
