Ernest was born in 1887 in Crookston, Minnesota, a few months after his family moved there from Gentilly. He was the 7th child of Fabien Regimbal and Salome LaBerge.

At the age of 10, he and his family moved West to Washington State. They made their home in Moxee City.

He married Emma Loretta Cyr (1887-1968).

Ernest was a dentist. After marrying my Dad, my mother was kind of coerced to see him because he was 'family', but she recounts that he did not use anesthetics on any of his patients.

Their son, Joseph Leo Regimbal (1919-1993) became a dentist, but unlike his father, he DID use pain control. He practiced in Yakima and was known as 'Dr Joe'. He was also my Godfather.

Ernest died in 1965 and is buried in Calvary cemetery, Yakima.
