William A. Boyson served as a Colonel and Commanding Officer of the 95th Medical Group, United States Army.

He served in the Army during World War I, World War II, and also during the Korean War.

He was a son of Albert M. Boyson and Margaret A. (Evans) Boyson.

He enlisted in the U.S. Army on April 18, 1918 at Harrisburg, Pennsylvania.

He received his discharge from the Army for his World War I service on April 28, 1919 at Camp Dix, New Jersey.

He entered active service with the 28th Infantry Division, U.S. Army on September 15, 1939 at Harrisburg, Pennsylvania.

He received his discharge from the Army for his World War II service on October 9, 1946 at Ft. Lewis, Washington.

He was originally from Harrisburg, Pennsylvania.

He was married to Marie (Bentz) Boyson.

His last place of residence was in Mechanicsburg, Pennsylvania.

He was interred in the Gettysburg National Cemetery on April 26, 1972.
