Ira, or Dutch, as he was called by his family and friends was born to Edwin and Francis Littlefield. He spent all of his young life in San Bernardino, Ca. He worked for the Santa Fe railroad until WWII was over. He then moved to southern Utah where he spent the remainder of his life. He loved southern Utah, with all it's beauty. He loved to fish and hunt. In fact in his casket we put a diet coke and his fishing gear. He married Agnes Ott, and they had five children. They were married for almost 65 years.
