Service will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday at Residence Baptist Church, with burial in Union Benevolent Cemetery.
He is survived by his mother, Cheryl T. Butler of Houma; his father, David M. Butler Sr. of Houma; his fiancee, Erica Domangue of Houma; one daughter, Bria Louise Butler of Houma; two brothers, David Butler Jr. and Brandon Butler of Houma; his grandmother, Chalmette K. Thomas and Hazel S. Butler, both of Houma; nine aunts, Antionette Mitchell of Altadina, Calif., Terri D. Thomas of Houma, Kim T. Ricks and husband, Edward, of Houma, Lisa A. Fusilier and husband, Standford, of Houma, Barbara Jasper and husband, Kenneth, of Houma, Donna M. He was a member of Residence Baptist Church and a member of Knights of Columbus. His hobbies were basketball and fishing. He was employed by North American Ship Yard.
