Clare A. McAfee, 90, of Fort Wayne, who liked needlework, crafts and reading, died Sunday, March 12, 2000, in Fort Wayne. The Fort Wayne native retired in 1974 from Indiana University-Purdue University Fort Wayne as a secretary to Dean Ralph Broyles, and was a member of Holy Cross Lutheran Church.
Surviving are sons Thomas of Fort Wayne and Jerry of Indianapolis; four grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
Her husband, Bruce M., preceded her in death.
Services are 1 p.m. Wednesday at D.O. McComb & Sons Maplewood Park Funeral Home, 4017 Maplecrest Road, with calling from 11 a.m. until services. Burial will be in Concordia Cemetery Gardens.
