Former Resident of Oneida County Dies
Funeral Services for Mrs. G.C. Chase Expected to Be Held Here.
Funeral services are expected to be held here tomorrow morning for the late Mrs. G. C. Chase, former resident of Oneida County, who died at Little Rock, Ark.
The funeral party left Little Rock last night and will arrive here tomorrow morning at 4 o'clock. Services are expected to be held at 10 a.m. from the Congregational church, the Rev. C. H. Wicks officiating. Interment will be at Forest Home cemetery by the side of Mr. Chase, who died several years ago.
The Chase family formerly lived on a farm on Highway 63 in the town of Sugar Camp near Robbins. Besides farming, Mr. Chase specialized in bee culture and the manufacture of high-grade honey. The Chase family left here about 10 years ago, going to Washington, D. C. For the past several years, however, they have lived in Arkansas.

Mrs. Lovina Dancer Chase, aged 77, died at her home, 2024 State street at 11:45 pm Saturday. She is survived by a daughter, Miss Lula B. Chase, teacher in Little Rock Junior College, and two grandchildren, both of Washington, D.C. Funeral services were held at the Healey & Roth chapel at 5 p.m. Sunday in charge of the Rev. Hay Watson Smith. Pallbearers were: V.L. Webb, C. R. Hamilton, H.W. Means, G.T. Huckaby, C.F. Allen, J.H. Atkinson, J.R. Bullington, E.Q. Brothers, I.C. Abbott, J.A. Larson and Dr. E.N. Davis. The body was sent to Rhinelander, Wis. Sunday night for burial.
