KATIE MIRACLE CHEEK, age 94, of Sevierville, Tennessee, passed away Thursday, April 24, 2008 at the Sevier County Health Center, Sevierville, Tennessee.

KATIE was born on April 9, 1914, in Bell County, Kentucky, the daughter of the late James Edward Miracle and Lucinda Hoskins Miracle. She married James Cheek. He preceded her in death on August 22, 1987. She was of the Pentecostal faith.

Survivors include 7 Children, Ruby Kellam of Marion, Indiana; Zella (John) Jackson of Marion, Indiana; Harold (Imogene) Cheek of Middlesboro, Kentucky; Coy (Laura) Cheek of Kodak, Tennessee; Bernice (Waylen) Wilder of Miracle, Kentucky; Delores Pence of Marion, Indiana and Tony (Debbie) Cheek of Pigeon Forge, Tennessee; Brother, Roscoe Miracle; 27 Grandchildren; 41 Great-Grandchildren; 14 Great-Great Grandchildren and a host of other relatives and friends.

In addition to her parents and husband, she was also preceded in death by a son, Claude Cheek, 2 granddaughters, 1 grandson and 3 great-grandsons.

Graveside Services & Burial will be at 11:00 a.m. on Monday, April 28, 2008, at Grant Memorial Park, Marion, with the Chaplain Charlie Hall officiating.

Friends may call from 6 to 8 p.m. Sunday, April 27 at Raven-Choate Funeral Home, 1202 Kem Road, Marion, Indiana.

Funeral Services will also be held at 8:00 p.m. Saturday, April 26, 2007 at the Creech Funeral Home Chapel in Middlesboro, Kentucky with Reverend Alonzo Miracle and Reverend Mike Sutton officiating. Friends may call from 6 to 8 p.m.
