Thankful French married JOSIAH TAYLOR on August 2, 1729 in Norwalk, Fairfield County, Connecticut, son of JOHN TAYLOR and WAIT CLAPP. He was born October 17, 1701 in Norwalk, Fairfield County, Connecticut, and died February 11, 1781 in Westport, Fairfield County, Connecticut. Thankful was listed in her husband's will dated, February 17, 1777. Thankful died on October 11, 1783 in Westport, Fairfield County, Connecticut. She is buried next to her husband.
