Ruby Duggins, 83 of 1504 W. Lincoln, died April 23 in Yakima Valley Memorial Hospital.
She was born March 24, 1898, in Texas, and was raised in Cordell, Okla.
She married Harvey Duggins on Dec. 5 1915 in Oklahoma and they came to Yakima in 1949. She had been a fruit sorter and had worked at the Big Y from 1942 until her 75th birthday when she retired. She was a member of the Church of Christ.
Survivors include two daughter, Mrs. Mildred Ellis, and Mrs. Hub (June) Kittle, both of Yakima' two sisters, Mrs. Dorothy Olson and Mrs. Everett :Neil" Bass, both of Portland; four grandchildren; three step - grandchildren 11 great grandchildren and 5 step great grand children. She was preceded in death by her husband Harvey, on April 12, 1966∼

Mrs. Duggins was the beloved mother of Mrs. Mildred Ellis and Mrs. Hub (June) Kittle, both of Yakima; sister of Mrs. Dorothy Olson and Mrs. Everett (Nell) Bass, both of Portland, OR. Grandmother of 4 grandchildren, 3 step-grandchildren; 11 great-great grandchildren, and 5 step-great greatchildren; aunt of several nieces and nephews.
