A native of Stokes County, he was a retired farmer. Surviving are daughter, Mrs. Janie Amos Martin of Sandy Ridge; sister, Mrs. Lola Amos Dodson of Sandy Ridge; brother, Bruce Amos of Sandy Ridge; and one granddaughter. The family will be at Colonial Funeral Home in Madison 7-9 p.m. today, other times at the residence of Mrs. Janie Martin, Route 1.
