COMMERCE - Funeral service for Neil Wayne An-derson, 27, of Commerce was at 3 p.m. Saturday in the Jones Memorial Chapel.
Anderson was found dead in a pond here Thursday, December 27, 1979. An investigation is continuing into cause of death.
Anderson, a self-employed artist, was born June 28, 1952, in Okemah, Okla. He lived in Commerce eight years after moving from Tulsa, Okla., and was a member of the Baptist Church.
Burial was in Oak Ridge Cemetery near Ladonia.
Anderson is survived by his parents, Dr. Fred B. and Mildred Rose Anderson of Commerce; sisters, Rachel Horton of Harrison, Ark., Karen Sue Anderson of Fayetteville, Ark., and Teresa Anderson of Commerce; brother, Jeff Anderson of Commerce; grandmother.
Parlee Rose of Okemah; and several nieces, nephews, sats, uncles and other relatives.
