Obit: Mrs. Maggie Pearl Johnson, age 95, of Suwanee, GA passed away on Thursday, July 22, 2010. She was preceded in death by husband, Doc Johnson; sisters, Winnie Rowe Corbin and Jewette Johnson, and brother, Clifford C. Martin. She is survived by four generations of nieces and nephews and three step-grandchildren. Mrs. Johnson was born July 17, l915 in Suwanee, GA. She was a resident of Gwinnett Extended Care for the past five years. She was a homemaker. She was a long-time member of Hopewell Christian church, Lawrenceville,Ga for over seventy years where she was the oldest member. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, July 24, 2010 at 3:00 pm in the Chapel of Flanigan Funeral Home with Rev. Bill Gibson officiating. Interment and Graveside service will follow at Peachtree Road Baptist Church Cemetery, Suwanee, GA with Rev. Mike Hudmon officiating. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Hopewell Christian Church, 440 Old Peachtree Road, Lawrenceville, GA 30043 in memory of Maggie Pearl Johnson.
