Odessa--Richard Otto Abney, 53, of
Odessa, died Friday in a Big Spring
Hospital.

Services will be at 3:30 p.m. Sunday
in Chapel of Roses Funeral Chapel
here with burial in Odessa.

Mr. Abney, a native of Oklahoma,
had been in the hospital since
struck last August by a car.He was
a mechanic in Odessa in 1964 from
Childress.

Survivors include his wife; three sons,
Archie, Phillip and Plez Abney, all of
Odessa; a daughter, Miss Altha Abney
of Amarillo, two brothers and four sis-
ters.
