Heman Terril/Terrill, born 1791 in Naugatuck, Connecticut to Israel and Losi Upson Terrill. Later he married Eunice Hitchock the d/o Benjamin and Eunice (Hotchkiss)Hitchcock. The family moved from Waterbury, Ct. to Canandaigua, Ontario Co., New York; then on to Columbia Station Lorain Co., Ohio, in 1821. They were the parents of nine known children: Truman, Sherlock, Zuriviah, Harry F., Lois, Mary, Betsy A., Joseph and Eunice.
