Irvan Laws was born in Thatcher, Utah and grew up in Plain City, UT where he met and married Glida Cottle on February 25, 1925. They moved to Burley, ID to farm and had one son, Ronald Jay Laws. They later moved to Twin Falls, ID where they eventually retired. Irvan and Glida were married for 62 years before Glida passed away in 1988. His son died five months later. He was survived by his granddaughter, Kim. Irvan was a loving grandfather and he is deeply missed.
