Funeral services for John Thomas Emanuel, 54, of 2547 Old mansfield Road, will be held at 2:30pm today at the Rose-Neath Funeral Home Chapel with teh Rev. Jerry Schmuker, pastor of Pinecroft Baptist Church, officiating. Burial will be in Forest Park West Cemetry. Mr. Emanuel died at 7am Thursday in the Veterans Administration Hospital after a long illness. A native of Doyline, he had lived in Shreveport most of his life. Mr. Emanuel was a retired sheet metal worker and a member of the Pinecroft Baptist Church. He served in the Army Air Corps during World War II and was disabled American veteran. Survivors include his widow; one sone, Ronald E. Emanuel of Shreveport; three brothers, C. W. Emanuel and W.M. Emanuel both of Shreveport, and James A. Emanuel of Memphis, Tenn.; four sisters, Mrs. Mae Clark and Mrs. Grace Hunter, both of Shreveport; Mrs. Margaret Johnson of Houston, Tex., and Mrs. Ernest Del Rio of Colfax.
